The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Support Administrator/Technician to join our Financial Systems team. In this newly created position, you will provide financial systems administration and technical support to the APAC region.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Administration/Support

  • Acting as primary point of contact for the Financial Systems Team, via support portal, telephone, email or in person.
  • Provision of first line support for Aderant Expert to the Finance Department.
  • Provision of second line support for Aderant Expert and other financial systems to users at all levels outside the finance function.
  • Liaison with IT service desk and second line teams.
  • Liaison with members of UK finance systems team (will require working outside normal working hours from time to time).

Advanced Technical support

  • Provision of technical support for the finance systems in the APAC region.
  • Ensuring that systems are operating correctly, and downtime is minimised.
  • Assisting other team members to support the financial applications.
  • Liaison with users to identify problems and work through to resolution.

Development

  • Development and maintenance of the Firm’s Aderant Expert practice management system using the Aderant tool set.
  • Development and maintenance of management and client reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services and other reporting tools.
  • Development and maintenance of the report delivery mechanisms.

Skills & Experience

  • Problem solving / trouble shooting.
  • Knowledge of Aderant Expert
  • Knowledge of iTImekeep
  • Very strong administration and customer service skills are an essential requirement of the role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst remaining calm.
  • Sound time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sound communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Financial application (preferably Aderant Expert) support and customisations.
  • SQL. Ability to run and construct basic queries and updates.
  • SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Programming (preferably Visual Basic / C# / Iron Python).
